We are excited to announce that the 2024 Prince George’s Film Festival is now accepting film submissions from filmmakers around the world
Are you a filmmaker looking to showcase your work to a wider audience?
We invite you to submit your movie to the Prince George’s Film Festival. The Prince George’s Film Festival is the premier event for new film works from up-and-coming and established independent filmmakers with diverse voices and an emphasis on local production in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
We are open for entries in the following categories:

Narrative Feature
An original work 60 mins or longer.
Genres: Action | Horror | Thriller | Comedy | Drama | Sci-Fi

Short film
An original work 35 minutes or shorter.
Genres: Action | Horror | Thriller | Comedy | Drama | Sci-Fi

Documentary
A original non-fiction work, 60 mins or longer, that educates, informs or historicizes events and important figures.

Animation
An original, animated work, of any length: 2D, 3D, stop-motion animation, and motion graphics and especially those inspired or voiced by marginalized voices.
Genres: Action | Horror | Thriller | Comedy | Drama | Sci-Fi

INTERNATIONAL
Original works predominantly shot outside of the United States. Can be short or feature length.

We are looking for screeners to aid in our official selection process! You’ll get access to our submitted films and help us choose the best of the best.
All deliberations must be complete by August 25.

Submitting your film is a straightforward and simple process. If you have a film that you would like to submit, please read the rules and guidelines via the Film Freeway submission portal before submitting your film entry.
